I remember the one you showed me with insulation foam, and I don't have time or energy for it. If you have anything simpler, that would be awesomesauce.

Well, there's featherweight's cardboard katana tutorial (http://forums.cosplay.com/showthread.php?t=76828), although I imagine you'd have to be really good at painting to get it to look right. You could also try googling tutorials for LARP swords, though I think those might involve foam/latex casting.

If you want to poke around though, it looks like they sell actual replicas. I know you can't take that to a con, but it'd be cool to see how they look for reference's sake.

ZOMG YOU = MY HERO.

What I really need to know is what colors to paint the hilt of Kira's sword. I'm not making the swords themselves; I bought wooden katanas, honestly. I don't have the time to do anything more than that.

I need to figure out how to make Zangetsu, though, and I don't have much time, so....
God, I don't know what to do.

I'd love to buy a replica Zangetsu, but that most definitely has to wait.
