How appropriate that I painted Gin's sword on his birthday. :D




GIN'S SWORD. The hilt guard isn't on it yet, and the masking tape is on it until the paint dries. I'm going to use a sharpie for details to make it look like I actually used cloth or something. It's the best I can do this time around. ;O;



Kira's fukutaichou badge. Not painted. Also: I had to pry that top part off of there, since APPARENTLY IT SHOULD NEVER HAVE BEEN THERE.
Balsa wood is a tool of the devil and it makes me want to cry.


VOILA. MYU!ICHIGO HAIR. Except obviously I haven't spiked it or anything. It just dried, and HERE IS A PICTURE, WHEE.
It could stand to be slightly oranger, but I TRIED, and it's not neon and asluhdfgkdfhgkdhgf this is all I can do. I like it, though. I might actually keep it awhile instead of immediately dyeing it another color like I was originally planning.

Shinji's sword and Kira's sword can't be painted until tomorrow; the primer we used on them took HOURS to dry and I'm tired and APPARENTLY I'M ALSO GETTING A COLD. Woo, this weekend should be interesting. Fuck you, universe. -.-

Aw, thanks! I just hope it's accurate enough. Probably no one in this stupid state will know about the musicals, other than the people in my group. BUT well. I AM ACCURATE, except that my costume is not sparkletastic. Oops.

I think that's a good shade for Ichigo's hair. :) A lot of cosplayers try to make it almost too orange and it just looks unnatural.

As for prying that top balsa wood piece off, please use a screwdriver or something. That stuff can cut up your hands something fierce. (I should know, I have to learn everything the hard way. |D;)

I AGREE. I don't like the neon color and would never do it that color. That's actually why I didn't get a wig - the only ones I found were OMG NEON, and I think they're silly. :D

I used the box cutter and sanded it, no worries.

I wanted the musical color, not the OMG KILL YOURSELF WHY IS THAT ON YOUR HEAD color. I THINK I HAVE ACHIEVED THAT.

I WAS AT A HUGE LOSS, BUT I THINK THINGS ARE GOING OKAY.
I didn't make Gin's sword; we got it on eBay. I just painted it, ahahahaha.
