Like that Eyeshield 21 thing. I just really don't get what's so captivating about it.

In the same vein, I actually can't understand Prince of Tennis. It just can't captivate me. Boys playing tennis can't POSSIBLY be interesting for 8657806875468798 episodes, seriously. o_O

Air Gear has some nice art, and lot's of fan service. This is enough to ignore the pretty darn terrible plot and lack of decent character development. apparently :I

The art actually is really nice - especially for shonen manga. BUT that's really not enough for me to care about the plot (oh, was there one?). I HAVE TO BE ENTERTAINED. If I want just pretty art, I'll buy doujinshi. 8D

I tried the first three episodes of the anime and said 'fuck it this is boring.' I don't get it either.

I didn't even get that far. ONE MANGA CHAPTER WAS MORE THAN ENOUGH BORING FOR ME.
It was so amazingly forgettable that I, uh, don't remember any of it except that one kid has a bird living in his hair. WOOOO, THAT'S SO AMAZINGLY INTERESTING ISN'T IT.
